Inspiration for this artwork:
In 2021 I went on a backpacking trip in the Grand Tetons. This trip will forever stand in my mind as challenging and magnificently beautiful. On our last night camping in the back country of the Grand Teton mountains we got to enjoy a lovely sunset. I enjoyed going bold with color for this painting to accentuate the golden light of the sun that hit the mountains as it set.
