The inspiration for this painting:
This painting is of Jenny Lake, a beautiful glacier-fed lake that sits at the base of the mountains in Grand Teton National Park. Grand Teton is one of my favorite places we've visited. My husband and I hiked the Teton Crest Trail, a backpacking trail that goes behind the iconic peaks, and I loved it for its remoteness and for the beauty that we found around every turn. We exited the trail at Jenny Lake and took the ferry back to the visitor center there. We got this beautiful view of the lake from the ferry on our way out.
