Inspiration for the painting
Hiking along the shoreline of Pictured Rocks was a wonderful experience! The water of Lake Superior was stunningly clear so you could see the colorful rocks beneath. We backpacked along the shoreline and got to enjoy 3 beautiful days along this beautiful shore. Pictured Rocks is a National Lakeshore located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
