Taking It In | Original Watercolor

This painting depicts a view on the Appalachian Trail. My husband and I and a few friends backpacked a small section in the Roan Highlands of North Carolina. I remember climbing a very steep uphill that seemed like it would never end and then sitting down to enjoy the view once we finally made it to the top. It's always an amazing experience to rest and take in the view after a difficult climb.
