Inspiration for this artwork:
I noticed this beautiful little stream while backpacking in Southern Ohio. We like to hike in the Lake Vesuvius National Forest area because it's close to home and it's an easy hike with nice views of the lake. With this painting I tried to keep the details minimal and focus more on creating a beautiful and satisfying color arrangement. These colors of golden yellow and pale blue were present in the photo I was working from but I pulled them out even further and made them a bit more saturated and bold.
